Issues. Issues. Issues. All this "if I was writing the show" dissection is pointless, in the end.

I don't think that Westeros deserves to kill Danny. I think Danny is what they needed. Because they're all bad people. They didn't even say thank you.

They were gaslighting her for 2 years and destroyed everything. Jon never loved one person because Catelyn hated him. He'll always abandon his women.

It doesn't make sense. If they had people talk on the show a little more maybe we could have spotted it. Yes, she has Dragons she will use that as a threat but who thought she'd do it.

I wouldn't say the Tarlys was a rational war choice. Its not mad, but its the more ruthless approach. While its often a common thing to just take hostages, like Theon. She could have taken Dickon as a Hostage, or the other way around. Its not mad, but its not necessarily the merciful, I want to create a better world and inspire people approach. Taking Dickon on as a Ward, would have been a diplomatic approach, and a good way to build bridges, because he gets to know her better then. Like Theon was part Stark at the end. That is how you create alliances. At least refuse to burn Dickon. Randyl seemed to agree with his Son bending the knee. Or of course, send them to the Wall, was the other popular option, but Randyl did not want that anyway. But burning Dickon as well, when you can avoid it. I guess it also had to happen for the story though, and I am curious to find out if that is going to happen in the books.

Its easy to say "no one will follow her now". But what are they supposed to do, most of them. Most Lords will just bow down to her, or she comes around and murders them all, including the smallfolk. It was the ultimate "you can live in my new world or die with your old". Everyone who does not want to follow her knows now, that she is ruthless. If Jon goes up against her, right then and there with his man, she can just fly up to Winterfell and roast everyone alive, without Jon being able to do anything against it, because he can't fly. This situation is rather delicate now, depending on how mad Dany is after she stops burning the city. She has made the point, that anyone who opposes her will be met with Fire and Blood. This was her Rains of Castamere, just taking it up a notch.

Varys didn't KNOW that Dany was going mad, he was just not sure on which side her coin has landed and has a healthy skepticism of her, seeing some of her words and actions/reactions. With Jon, he is sure, as we are all, that he is a just man, who is not going to go mad, or cruel.

I don't think we are supposed to like Jaimies relapse. That is one of the bitter parts of the ending, that Jaimie will not succeed at betterment, but shy back when he actually gets a shot at a new life, a better self. He tried it, and had his shot, but got scared and relapsed. And went back to Cersei, where he feels secure in himself, knows who he. This new self is new, and scary. And Cersei was always a bit like a drug for him too. So I think it is very logical for him to act in the way he did. Just as it would have been logical as well if he had continued on his new path, or going back and having to end up killing her. Those options were all possible from his build up. It is sad and bitter he took this route, but that fits perfectly with Georges writing. He has written shortstories that had a very bleak ending. So it was to be expected that he wasn't joking about parts of the end being bitter. We are not supposed to like it, since we wanted for him to better himself, or have a more dramatic death where he redeems himself by stopping Cersei. But sadly, humans be humans.

Aunt-schmant. As her "nephew," I would have fucked Dany 3 ways to Sunday. Well, maybe 7 ways to Sunday if you throw in a midget (and not Tyrion). Meh, this series has been a collasal let-down. Oh well.

Yes Jon Snow is a slow learner like he never deceived Ygritte abt his true intentions a few seasons back. Nop! Or he was smart then but now suddenly he became stupid for not wanting to fuck his aunt! You ppl are more dumb than the writers sometimes.

D&D said that they only needed 13 episodes to tell the rest of the story... They failed to mention that they could not tell it well and that they were going to butcher the character arcs.

After The Hound/Sandors initial brush with death in an earlier season, when Arya left him to die, and he somehow linked up with that minister/spiritual group (or whatever the hell they were), it was written as though he was undergoing some type of transformation. I was under the impression that we would witness The Hound soften up and take a different path of some sort. Even that feels incomplete to me. Him fighting his brother, only to kill them both in a fiery death, is unsettling. That character could have gone much further. So many holes in this finale man.🤦🏾

It's not her going crazy that people have the issue with though. It is the complete lack of reason for it to descend so fast. She literally went from regular Dany, to complete psycho in less than 2 episodes. The missing story that was rushed through is why people are disappointed.

They can make a tragedy but they could've made it work better and be a lot more meaningful and interesting than the most shittiest way they could've done everything, they did it! I HATE the show runners now and will boycott everything they do for the rest of their careers. They're cheap hacks who don't know anything about making a good story w/realistic characters themselves. They spit and shit on this series by what they've done and disrespected GRRM and us too! FUCK D&D! They need to hire someone else to redo the last two seasons.

Season 7 Ep 7: Tyrion to Cersei: "Daenerys didn't want to debate & negotiate. She didn't want to bring you words. She wanted to bring you Fire & Blood until I advised her otherwise... She (Dany) knows herself. She chose an advisor who would check her worse impulses instead of feeding them. That's the difference between you."
So I don't get how without any advisors she could trust anymore to check her worst impulses, it's so hard to believe she did what she did. I mean isn't foreshadowing suppose to be subtle? Even former trusted advisor, Missandei, just last episode, last words were to burn them. And certainly Dany's look afterward showed a person who could give in to those impulses.
Doesn't seem so "hard to get" to me.

At first, it seemed like Arya had died/was actually Death on that "pale mare" ;) or she was Drogo, and finally rode into the Nightlands. But looks like she's back in the last show, so I guess she didn't die. She may still be death, and if so, I think she'll use her bow and shoot Drogon, in the eye. Change my mind.

I think this season has wonderful writing. Since it tears at your every emotion, and puts doubt into your once cherished ideals and characters. It encompasses the "Duality of Man" within Characters, and force the viewers to genuinely look into that aspect. This is not and should not be a feel good story. Its death, betrayal, ITS WAR.

I just love the idea of him having his white wolf and black dragon, as he is the song of Ice and Fire, and one of the main protagonists in a story that is wrtitten in such a way as to demonstrate that nothing is "black and white".

Too bad that little girl that told grown men off and what to do isn't alive, they could get the throne to her. It was obvious soon as they left the books what they would do, let feminist take over like they been wanting a long time. Which is why the retarded Mary Sue told their hen followers to boycott the show years ago. Not sure the last time I saw a small boy on the show, except the one they hung on wall. Spend several episodes just picking our young girls to either let them want to fight or for no reason like this episode.

That is why its so bad though, agenda over everything else. Plus letting clowns attempt to write something they have no idea on how but do know their agenda. Those things think stuff like that is great, get paid a lot to do it and do not care what anything thinks of it. Because that agenda needs to be shown so people know how great it is. How many shows and movies has these half-wit feminist ruined, plenty of them.I assume Sansa with be the one, I guess they think it will surprise everything. She went from dumb as rocks to genus after the feminist took over. Mostly stares like she is high.

They could have told the same story and done it well.. instead they shit all over the series with this b.s. At this point I thing Dan & Dave HATE Game of Thrones and this was a BIG F.U. to ALL OF US..

Lol It was brutal but I only really care for Jon and Drogon at this point anyway. Was glad to see Cersei and Jaime die, it was weird how the show tried to make their last scenes together romantic like naaah they're brother and sister ffs! HATE how they did a total reversal in Jaime's character, I grew to like him and even feel sorry for him but then they decided to make him the old Jaime again!

The interesting thing is Dany's war crimes were worse than anyone else's for the entire show. It was not a well developed or well written season. It would have made more sense for people to "betray" her if the plot and writing was developed better over more episodes. The Northern people just want autonomy, so it's no surprise that they pushed back. Dany comes from another part of the world and does not understand the cultures if the land she wishes to rule.
